Cleveland Drafts Partners

Cleveland Drafts is a collaborative venture put on by local folks who run bookstores and literary fellowships, organizations and presses, reading series and workshops and after-school programs that highlight the depth and variety of literary activity that the Cleveland area has to offer. Brews +  Prose showcases America's great authors to Cleveland and Cleveland to America's great authors. Readings are held the first Tuesday of Every month at 7:00pm at Market Garden Brewery in Ohio City.

Twelve Literary Arts brings performance poetry to public spaces, while supporting poets and writers of all ages with youth programming, adult professional development, and brave spaces to dream, write and teach into reality a world of social justice and equity.

The Cleveland State University Poetry Center is an independent national non-profit press. The center publishes full-length books of contemporary poetry and prose by emerging writers through three national contests for First Books, Poetry, and Collections of Essays.

The North East Ohio Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing is a four-year consortium offering concentrations in fiction, creative nonfiction, playwriting, poetry, and literary translation. The program incorporates faculty and resources from Cleveland State University, Kent State University, Youngstown State University, and the University of Akron.

Literary Cleveland is a nonprofit organization serving the community of readers and writers in Cleveland through programs like workshops, networking events, author readings, and the annual Cleveland Inkubator. The organization also houses Gordon Square Review, an online literary magazine published biannually to showcase emerging writers nationwide and to spotlight Northeast Ohio writers..

Lake Erie Ink offers creative writing programming for youth across Cleveland, including programs like Summer Writing Camps, Comics and Graphic Storytelling, and the Ink Spot After school program.

Belt Publishing is a small, independent press founded in Cleveland in 2013 as a platform for new and influential voices from the Rust Belt and Midwest alongside their sister publication, Belt Magazine. Their titles include four core imprints

The Cleveland Institute of Art is one of the nation's leading accredited independent colleges of art and design. For over 135 years, the college has been an educational cornerstone in Cleveland, producing graduates competitive as studio artists, designers, writers, photographers, contemporary craftsmen, and educators.

Purpled Palm Press is an independent publisher "bringing stories from the margins to the masses. The press collaborates with the local LGBTQIA+ community to publish books, poems, essays and anthologies and also organizes "Outsiders," a queer writing retreat in Southern, Ohio.

Barnhouse Journal is a bi-annual literary journal in print based in Cleveland, Ohio. Barnhouse also hosts an episodic reading series, this series is not on netflix, showcasing emerging & established writers throughout the midwest.

Visible Voice Books is a locally-owned and operated bookstore on Professor Avenue in Tremont. This urban retreat for curious readers and creative thinkers is eager to connect with art, ideas, people and tastes that challenge their world view.

Since 1994 Loganberry Books has been independently owned and operated in the Larchmere Neighborhood. Their collection of over 100,000 volumes features new, used, and rare books, including modern first editions.
